About Our Business
Started just before Thanksgiving 2007, the shoppe became a reality after many long hours turning
an old carriage/Model T garage into a quaint show place for the homemade items people were
requesting. We had been in the business of selling eggs, meat, and wool for several years, but as
word got out, we had to have a central place from which to offer our homemade baked goods and
classes. When several friends and family members expressed interest in consigning their hand
crafted and homemade items, our stock grew even bigger. A shoppe was the only logical solution.
Being able to provide our goods via a website seemed only fitting as we were taking phone orders
and people were asking daily for a means to look us up on line.
We believe in the handcrafted, home grown and home produced products that maintain the tastes,
textures, smells, and memories of a time gone by. Nothing mass produced for a chain store could
ever compare!
We have joined several local food organizations and practice organic farming. If you would like to
